My sister Kate Kirwan was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation in July 2023. Chiari Malformation is neurological brain disorder where the lower part of the brain extends into the spinal cord. This can cause a blockage of the normal flow of the cerebrospinal fluid and put pressure on the brain and spinal cord. Living with Chiari Malformation for Kate has been challenging both physically and mentally, which had required her to undergo brain surgery in September 2023 and again in the next coming weeks. Cork University Hospital have been very supportive throughout Kate's journey, which is why I would love to raise money for this charity. Every donation is greatly appreciated!
