Frank Kennedy fundraising for Irish Cancer Society

I’m doing the Dublin City marathon in October 2024 to support the Irish Cancer Society. The nurses at the Society provided incredible support to my brother Richard and helped him through a long battle with Cancer. This is my 2nd marathon. I completed my first in 4 hours and 11 minutes and hope the motivation of representing the Cancer Society will drive me across the line in under 4 hours this time. Richard hopes to be fit enough to cycle the course to lend support. We’d be very grateful for any contribution to support the Irish Cancer Society and the great work the nurses do in helping Cancer Patients and their families dealing with Cancer. Thank You Frank(and Richard) Kennedy Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

About Irish Cancer Society

Cancer is the most common cause of death in Ireland with more than 9,000 people dying each year. That's almost 25 people dying from cancer every day across Ireland. An average of 1 person every hour. However, thanks to earlier detection, improved care and targeted treatments, more people are surviving cancer than ever before. Today, there are 200,000 cancer survivors in Ireland. The Irish Cancer Society are working towards a future where nobody dies from cancer, and everyone affected by the disease will have access to world class treatment and support. Typically receiving only 5% of income from the Government, your support helps provide key services to ensure no one has to face cancer alone and funds vital cancer research with over €30 million invested since 2010.
