About Cork Mental Health Foundation

The Foundation provides numerous educational projects which you can get more information on in our Education section of this website. The Foundation also gives presentations, as requested, to community, voluntary and statutory groups in the area of mental health promotion. Cork Mental Health Housing Association supports people with mental health difficulties through building and managing Social Housing Projects in Cork City & County. Currently we have 35 properties supporting over 110 residents. You can get more detail on our housing projects in the housing section of our website. Both Cork Mental Health Housing Association and Cork Mental Health Foundation rely heavily on our volunteers to support us in carrying out our work and we acknowledge their commitment and support in giving of their time so generously.

About Cork City Marathon 2025

Organised by Cork City Council, the marathon has three distances: the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K race. The routes weave through Cork City’s scenic and vibrant streets and suburbs, past iconic landmarks and along the bustling quays. The incredible support from Corkonians lining the streets, paired with the camaraderie among participants, guarantees a memorable day for all.

The Cork City Marathon is open to all, from elite athletes chasing records to first-time runners tackling personal goals. It's more than a race—it’s about community, resilience, and making a difference.

Building on the €200,000 raised for 58 charity partners in 2024, we aim to double this target in the coming years. With our new tagline ‘Your Race, Their Hope.’ We encourage participants to run for causes close to their hearts, making every stride on June 1 count towards vital, life-changing work.

As a full member of AIMs the Cork marathon is IAAF certified.
