Hi all, On May 5th I will completing the Limerick Run half marathon. I have decided to raise money for ‘The little blue hero’s’. The little blue hero’s is an organisation which provide practical and financial support to families of children who have serious illnesses in Ireland. A little girl very close to my heart named lily, pictured below was born with mitochondrial disease. Growing up she was extremely sick and faced many challenges, and still to this day does. Her family were told she would never walk or speak, and very lucky to be here with us today, but seems to surprise us everyday. The little blue hero’s have done such much for lily, bringing herself and her family on trips, had Santa visit with presents and so much more. What they do for sick children is just amazing. I would be forever grateful for any donation big or small for this amazing charity and for this amazing little girl. Please feel free to share to hopefully reach my target or even better surpass it💖.
