We are completing the Great Limerick Run this year in memory of our dear friend Ray Joyce. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. Ray's personality lit up any room he entered. He was a vibrant, fun-loving, witty character who really was larger than life. Ray was an avid runner and took part in many road races, including the half marathon and 6mile in the GLR. He also completed the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in 2012. Ray was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma in 2020. He underwent 2 grueling surgeries and relentless treatment in an effort to eradicate his illness. Throughout it all, Ray remained positive and he was an inspiration to all around him - his family, friends, medical staff and patients he encountered along the way. His final days were spent in the exceptional care of the staff of Milford Care Centre, who truly are angels on Earth. Please give generously to this amazing charity.
