Erin Mulligan fundraising for Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund (NIKRF) in Phoenix Energy Belfast City Marathon 2026
Thank you for visiting my Belfast City Marathon fundraising page! My sister Niamh and I are raising money in aid of the Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund, something very close to our hearts. Why we’re running? Those who know me know we lost our nana 5 years ago to kidney disease, she was the shining light of our family and is missed each and every day. Nana was like a second mum to me, supporting me through all my equestrian endeavours, sitting through endless rewatches of CSI: Miami and Law & Order, forever being a shoulder to cry on through my darkest times and with an infectious laugh I will never stop missing 💕 Having myself recovered from an ED and finding a balanced lifestyle in which I finally can enjoy food and exercise again, I know nana would be so proud of how far I’ve come, although she may think I’m not wise running a marathon in her honour! I wish she was here to cheer me on but I know I will be making her proud, achieving something that young me couldn’t have dreamed of achieving. Your support means the world to me as we take on this incredible challenge through the streets of Belfast. Every step we run brings us closer to making a real difference for those affected by kidney disease, something that currently has no cure. If you’d like to help even more, please share this page with your friends and family! You can use the social sharing buttons below to spread the word on Facebook, Twitter, or WhatsApp. We truly appreciate any and all support 🩷 Together, we can make this marathon count for something truly special. Thank you again for your amazing support!
