Together, we can transform the lives of children with autism by providing specially trained service dogs that help keep kids safe, expanding their horizons and enhancing their lives. Since 2010, we have partnered with our communities across Ireland to provide Autism Assistance Dogs to families who need us, without ever charging families a cent for this lifechanging service. Our dogs are specially trained to provide safety and companionship, reduce anxiety and suffering, promote independence, and improve coping mechanisms of children with autism. This enables the child to be included in everyday situations that they would otherwise find overwhelming. Our dogs enable families to expand their possibilities and live the fullest of lives. Because of their vital role in the lives of the families we serve, Assistance Dogs are legally recognised supports for families and are allowed access to all public facilities and accommodations.

Volkswagen Financial Services Wicklow Half Marathon & 10km takes place on 22nd March, 2026. The Half Marathon will begin at 10.30am and 10KM at 10.40am. As an early season event with a fantastic atmosphere, it provides a great opportunity to get out and blow off the cobwebs.
