Deirdre Grant fundraising for NIPANC
This year, our relay team will participate in the Belfast Marathon to raise funds and awareness for Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer — a cause that has become deeply personal for our family and wider circle. We are running in memory of Eamonn Grant, a much-loved brother, uncle and friend, who suffered with pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive disease with few early symptoms, limited treatment options, and one of the lowest survival rates of all cancers. Our team consists of: Deirdre, Roisin & Ciaran Grant, Lesley Bell and Mark Kelly — running together not just in his memory, but for every family who has faced or will face this diagnosis. Each mile we run is a tribute to Eamonn’s life, and a reminder that more must be done. The team is being supported by Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer, whose work is vital. The charity raises awareness of pancreatic cancer, campaigns for earlier diagnosis, supports patients and families across Northern Ireland, and advocates for better outcomes for those affected by this devastating disease. By donating to this page, you are helping to: • Raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and its symptoms • Support patients and families when they need it most • Strengthen the work of Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer in improving outcomes If you are able to donate — no matter the amount — or share this page, you are helping to turn loss into action. Thank you 💜
