About Sunflower Children's Hospice
The Sunflower Children’s Hospice will be the first children’s hospice outside Dublin. All funds raised will support the development of the Sunflower Children’s Hospice, which will provide essential care for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses, as well as vital support for their families, across eight counties in the West of Ireland.
Located in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, it will provide respite, comfort, and a safe space for families. A place where children can be cared for with dignity and families can find support, hope, and glimmers of joy.
Building on the success of Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, which has already delivered two state-of-the-art hospices through community fundraising, this new project will extend care to the youngest and most vulnerable in our communities.
