Ciara Sheehan, Triona O’ Gorman, Katelyn O’ Gorman, Emily Sheehan and Lauren O’ Gorman fundraising for The Mercy Foundation in The 45th Echo Women's Mini Marathon 2026

On September 20th this year, We are taking part in the Cork Women’s Mini Marathon in loving memory of our incredible Wife, Mam and Nana Delia, who sadly passed away this past June. For the last 10 months, Mam was under the compassionate care of the team at The Mercy University Hospital and the Lee Road Clinic Cork. During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the doctors, nurses, and staff provided her with dignity, warmth, and exceptional medical attention, while offering unwavering support to our whole family. We will forever be grateful for the kindness they showed with us throughout Mam’s journey. Taking part in the Mini Marathon is our way of giving back and saying thank you. Every euro raised for the Mercy Foundation goes directly to support services for families just like ours. No matter how small, your contribution would mean the world to us. Thank you so much for helping us honour Mam’s memory and support the incredible work at The Mercy. Ciara, Triona, Katelyn, Emily and Lauren x
