Cork ARC Cancer Support House is a safe haven for people with cancer and their families, where you will find information, practical help and emotional support free of charge. Whatever stage of your diagnosis or treatment, we believe that no one should have to do it alone. Our aim is to provide therapies that complement the medical model, so as to make a difference to the lives of those affected by cancer. Our centres are based in Cork city and Bantry. We provide a wide range of vital cancer supports, all free of charge, for people whose lives have been affected by cancer and we rely almost entirely on the generosity of our supporters to allow us to continue offering these services free of charge to cancer patients and their loved ones when they need it most.
The official marathon (42.195KM / 26.2 miles) and half marathon (21.1KM/13.1 miles) courses takes you through the beautiful and unique streetscapes of Cork city and suburbs. The full marathon is accompanied by the team relay, which allows up to 5 people share the course - a great way to take part in a great occasion! As a full member of AIMs the Cork marathon is IAAF certified.
