Billy Maher fundraising for Breakthrough Cancer Research in Analog Devices Cork City Marathon 2026
Cancer is an awful disease that unfortunately has affected most people in their lives, whether it’s being diagnosed yourself or a loved one has been. It’s been brining nothing but pain and sadness to the world. When I was 11 years old my granda passed away due to it. He was my best friend and we used to spend hours together daily. When he passed my family was left distraught but I was left more confused than anything. Now I am 19 years old and want to bring awareness to this cause so the great people in Breakthrough Cancer Research can try find a cure. I hope you can donate anything you can as every bit helps ❤️

About Analog Devices Cork City Marathon 2026
Organised by Cork City Council, the Analog Devices Cork City Marathon has three distances: the
Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K race. The routes weave through Cork
City’s scenic and vibrant streets and suburbs, past iconic landmarks and along
the bustling quays. The incredible support from Corkonians lining the streets,
paired with the camaraderie among participants, guarantees a memorable day for
all.
The Analog Devices Cork City Marathon is open to all, from elite athletes chasing
records to first-time runners tackling personal goals. It's more than a
race—it’s about community, resilience, and making a difference.
Building on the €300,000 raised for 70 charity partners in 2025, we aim
to double this target in the coming years. With our new tagline ‘Your Race,
Their Hope.’ We encourage participants to run for causes close to their hearts,
making every stride on May 31st count towards vital, life-changing work.
As a full member of AIMs the Analog Devices Cork City Marathon is IAAF certified.
