Beth Grimley fundraising for NIPANC
On the 20th of September I will be running the Belfast half marathon to raise money for NIPANC. This is a charity that aims to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer, they fund vital research and support patients and their family’s through some of the most difficult days of their lives. This charity is very important to me and my family. My daddy passed away when I was 14 on Father’s Day in 2021, a day I will never forget. After only being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April of the same year, although he had been showing symptoms from January. We were only given 2 months with my daddy after his diagnosis. If my dad had been diagnosed earlier we may have been able to spend more time with him. NIPANC is a charity which aims to make this possibility a reality through vital research and awareness. My daddy loved running, he took part in the armagh park run every Saturday. I know if daddy was still here today, he would be running alongside me. Any donation will help make an impact. Thank you so much, this means the world to me and my family.
