This year I have decided to run the Irishlife Dublin Half Marathon in aid of Breakthrough Cancer Research. Breakthrough Cancer Research is a charity that directly funds high quality cancer research accross Ireland. As I am lucky enough to be one of these researchers funded by Breakthrough Cancer Research & The Irish Research Council, I get to see first hand the amazing high quality research they are funding with the vision of 100% survival for 100% of cancers. Half Marathon Complete! ✔️ I am delighted to say yesterday I completed the Irish Life Half marathon in 2 hours 14 minutes. It was a great experience yesterday and I have to shout out the amazing support from family and friends. I am so grateful to everyone who has donated, it doesn’t go unnoticed you’re all amazing! I am also grateful to Breakthrough Cancer for all their support during this training and in my research! Love Aideen xx
