They have been helping patients and promoting organ donation for the last 45 years. With over 5,500 people in Ireland with end-stage kidney disease, over 2,500 of them receiving dialysis treatment and another 2,500 have a functioning kidney transplant, we must spread awareness and raise funds to keep the Irish Kidney Association’s critical services going. It is really easy to get the Donor Card App on your phone. Let’s keep this life-saving legacy going by carrying a donor card or downloading the digital version and sharing your wishes with your family. I also ticked the organ donation box when I applied for my driver’s license and it is represented by the code number 115 on my license.
