Doing this for my Amazing Dad, John Kenny, who wouldnt want a great fuss made but always would want to thank the people who helped him in any way he could. He portrayed his apprecition to people who supported him throughout his time in the Abbey Stores with small acts his entire life in many many ways. One being dropping groceries to a customers door or even bringing them home too if they didn't drive or the weather was poorly. Delivering coal or fuel and dropping it into the designated places so the customer wouldn't have to get their hands dirty. Dad loved people and especially helping people!! Wonderful memories we have as John Kenny's children, We are so blessed to have had him for 80 years. Dad lead by example in everything he did and especially showing his children how to be good people too. A true legend with great charisma and a wonderful sense of humour who is loved so dearly. One of the things he said before he left us was to make sure we got something for all the nurses. So we are doing this for them Dad. Thank you to all the amazing nurses who looked after our dear Dad, we appreciate you so very much. Dad appreciated you too!! Thanks again for everything. I dont run, but I'm running for you Dad!! 🩷xxx
