In Honour of Féileacáin, I’m taking part in a special fundraiser race in honour of precious babies who left this world far too early. I am running on behalf of my dear friends Rachel and Gary who lost their beautiful baby Luna in May this year and all families who have faced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a baby. Every step I take is for the parents who carry love and grief side by side, for the little ones who are always remembered, and for the hope that future families will receive the care, support, and compassion they need during their darkest moments. By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping provide vital resources such as emotional support, counselling, medical care, and community programs that bring comfort and connection to grieving families. No family should ever walk such a difficult journey alone. If you’re able to donate, I would be deeply grateful. Your kindness will help honour these little lives and lift up the families who hold them forever in their hearts. Thank you for your support, compassion, and willingness to stand with us. 💛

About Féileacáin (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Association of Ireland

Féileacáin (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland – SANDAI) was formed in 2009 and subsequently registered as a charity in 2010 ( CHY – 19635). Féileacáin was formed by a group of bereaved parents to offer support to anyone affected by the death of a baby around the time of birth, and the organisation is now the national charity supporting families affected by perinatal loss. Féileacáin is a volunteer led organisation and receives no funding from central government, relying instead on the support of our community and the families who avail of our services.

About Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf 5 Mile and Half Marathon November 2025 Fundraising Campaign

Welcome to Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf half marathon and 5 mile. It takes place in the scenic setting of Clontarf Promenade and Bull Island with views of Howth Head and Dublin bay. The race is contained within an off road promenade and Bull Island giving it unique and relaxing appeal. This year we are partnered with the Mater Hospital Foundation charity and are encouraging all participants to make a difference for critically ill patients and their families while taking part. This fundraising platform allows runners to promote and fundraise for worthy charitable causes that they have a strong significant meaning with. By registering for the race, you will have the option to tell us about your charity and the reason you are looking to raise funds. We will use this fundraising platform to showcase these stories and together we will help raise funds for some worthy causes!
