Spinal Injuries Ireland is Ireland's only one-to-one support service for people with a spinal cord injury (SCI). We provide a range of evidence-based services and resources to help people and their families adapt to life after the devastation of a SCI. The assistance we provide to each service user is specific to the needs of the person and their families. These services include one-to one support from our Community Outreach Team, access to our trained peer volunteer programme, and a comprehensive educational programme. We offer professional counselling service to the most distressed service users and their families to help them cope with their new reality. Spinal Injuries Ireland are here for people from the moment of injury and we continue to provide support for as long as it is needed. With practical help from our expert team, we focus on possibility, opportunity, and hope - on what a person can do, not what they can’t.
