For over 150 years, St Luke’s Charity & Home has cared for generations of Cork people in their later years, providing them with very best clinical, physical, social & spiritual care to ensure they maintain the very best quality of life.
Today, St Luke’s cares for 128 residents & c. 100 Daycare clients from the community, many of whom are living with Dementia in its many various forms; we care for all with respect, dignity and genuine compassion.
As the number of Dementia diagnoses in Ireland has risen over the past decades, St Luke’s Charity & Home has become a champion of Dementia care, ensuring its residents & Daycare clients experience best-practice Dementia care, while also spearheading the advancement of Dementia education, research and training in Cork and across Munster.
St Luke’s Charity & Home is voluntary, not-for-profit, residential care home; we rely greatly on fundraising activities and donations to continue our work today and into the future.
