PIPS Hope and Support, founded in 2003 has grown into the leading suicide prevention charity within the Southern Health and Social Care Trust area. With premises in Newry and Lurgan, and outreach hubs, the charity is dedicated to delivering a range of services, including crisis intervention, bereavement support, and training programmes.
The charity's mission is to reduce the number of people who take their own lives and equip communities with the skills to recognise and respond to emotional distress. It provide's therapy to individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts, high levels of anxiety, poor mental health, or those bereaved by suicide. PIPS Hope and Support offers various training programmes aimed at equipping community members with the skills to identify and support those at risk of suicide.
