The Little Flower is a food charity located on 11 Meath Street in Dublin 8. It was established in 1912 by the parish and local community in response to the high levels of poverty in the area and to provide food for those in need. Today our premises is still at the same location where it all started over 110 years ago. Our mission is still the same; to continue helping and feeding our community. Every weekday at 12:00pm we serve a nutritious meal with a dessert in our premises, but most importantly, we give them access to a safe space where they can enjoy a warm meal and also interact with other people. It is like our slogan says; "Food for the Body, Food for the Soul". In addition to this, we also offer a meals-on-wheels service that operates 365-days a year. This provides meals to elderly and housebound people in the area. By making a donation, no matter how small, you can help us provide food and support to those who need it most.
