Kare delivers a wide range of community-based supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to support them and their families to create a present and future that fulfils their personal potential. Kare was founded in 1967 by a group of parents and friends of children with intellectual disabilities who set out to ensure that children with disabilities could live at home with their family and be educated locally. We deliver a range of community-based supports to over 550 children and adults with intellectual disability. These services include day services, residential, clinical supports, outreach, employment and short breaks/respite.
