Every child deserves clean, safe water — at home, at school, and in their community.
Together, we can help end the global water crisis within our lifetime.
In Solomon Islands, many children attend school without access to reliable water, safe toilets or handwashing facilities. This puts their health at risk and disrupts their learning every day. Girls are especially affected, often missing school during menstruation due to a lack of private, appropriate sanitation.
This project focuses on improving water, sanitation and hygiene in primary schools across World Vision Ireland's Solomon Islands Area Programme.
When schools have clean water and proper sanitation, children get sick less often, attendance improves, and teachers are better supported to stay and teach. The impact reaches far beyond the classroom, helping families and communities build healthier futures.
Give today to help children stay healthy, stay in school, and keep moving forward on the path out of poverty.
P.S. All travel and personal expenses for participants visiting Solomon Islands are covered by the individuals themselves. Every euro raised through this fundraiser will go directly towards supporting local communities.
