Shine bright with colourful attire and put your best foot forward!

Cork Pride 2026 kicks off for many with the Pride 5k event, which is a walking and running event.

Walker start time: 11am / Runner start time: 11.15am. However, we are asking all to arrive pre-11am to Kennedy Park.

FRBW Cork medals for all finishers
1st place trophy for the first running and walking finishers
Chip and timed race
Refreshments and entertainment post-5k
The first 100 people to register are included into a raffle for our Pride Spot Prizes

We are focused on breaking barriers, creating opportunities and building on equality and inclusion for the LGBT+ Community in sport. We encourage those interested to come and take part and show your support either by walking or running, in particular our allies.

ABOUT THE charity

Gay Project CLG

Gay Project is an NGO that supports the LGBTI+ community by promoting and operating a community development programme from the Gay Project Community Centre which acts as a focus and catalyst for the development of the LGBTI+ community primarily in but not limited to the urban and rural areas of the city and county of Cork and the surrounding areas; with a view to enabling members of the LGBTI+ community to participate fully in Ireland’s social, economic, cultural, political, educational, artistic, and sporting life.
