The Dave Mulready Memorial Cycle is Maynooth Cycling Clubs annual leisure sportive taking place on Sunday 20th September 2026.

The Sportive consists of two routes to choose from - 60km and 100km which goes through both counties of Meath and Kildare.
All routes start and finish at Maynooth GAA club on the Moyglare road.

The online entry fee is 30 euro for either route. The fee includes refreshements at water/food stops and hot meal after the event.
If you are not a member of Cycling Ireland there is an additional fee for insurance required by Cycling Ireland.
Funds raised after costs will go towards the Irish Cancer Society and Maynnoth GAA fund raiser.  
Sign on opens from 8am at Maynooth GAA club with 100k rolling out at 9:30am and 60km rolling out at 10am
Helmets must be worn for both events

Irish Cancer Society

Cancer is the most common cause of death in Ireland with more than 9,000 people dying each year. That's almost 25 people dying from cancer every day across Ireland. An average of 1 person every hour. However, thanks to earlier detection, improved care and targeted treatments, more people are surviving cancer than ever before. Today, there are 200,000 cancer survivors in Ireland. The Irish Cancer Society are working towards a future where nobody dies from cancer, and everyone affected by the disease will have access to world class treatment and support. Typically receiving only 5% of income from the Government, your support helps provide key services to ensure no one has to face cancer alone and funds vital cancer research with over €30 million invested since 2010.
