Across six trips in April, May & June 2027 over 200 students & their teachers will walk from Portomarin to Santiago , a route of 100 kms over 4 days . It is an amazing experience for everyone
The students will be from schools all across the Country and will be walking in solidarity with families on their own challenging journey as they deal with the emotional & financial pressure of caring for a seriously sick child.
Each of the students have to raise a minimum of €1,000 , 100% of which goes directly to Cliona's , with the cost of travel & accommodation being borne by themselves.
Apart from the serious efforts put into fundraising and the challenge of the walk, all of these students are amazing ambassadors for Cliona's, their families & their schools.
It has been an absolute privilege for Cliona's to have had the company of these amazing young people on our trips in over the past four years
