September is recognised as World Suicide Prevention Month, a time to acknowledge those affected by suicide and help raise awareness.
We all play a critical role in preventing suicide. Each suicide is devasting and suicidal behaviour has a profound impact on those around them. Preventing suicide is possible and by raising awareness, reducing the stigma around suicide and by encouraging well-informed action, we can reduce the instances of it.
By joining our Mizen to Malin challenge for World Suicide Prevention Day and Month, you are amplifying the message that suicide is preventable. You will be helping Cycle Against Suicide raise awareness. encouraging supportive conversations and help-seeking behaviour and ultimately, help give hope to those who are struggling.
Furthermore, you will be supporting Cycle Against Suicide's commitment to suicide prevention. Through our programmes in schools, communities, and workplaces, we weave prevention into the very fabric of communities
