ABOUT THE charity
Cheshire Ireland
Cheshire Ireland is a very special organisation providing a vast range of services to people with both physical, sensory and neurological conditions, who often have very complex and high support needs. Our vision is to support people to live their best possible life.
Things that we take for granted, getting dressed, feeding ourselves, making a cup of tea, bathing, getting out - well the people we support, we support them for a reason, because they cannot do the above mentioned tasks without help and a lot more.
We employ over 800 staff and operate in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Wicklow, Limerick, Donegal, Kerry, Carlow, Waterford, Wexford, Sligo and Mayo.
The main functions of staff are to support people when needed in areas such as clinical support, personal care, transfers/mobility, continence, medication management, showering/bathing, preparation of meals, eating, laundry, money management, and community involvement - supporting individuals to engage in social and recreational pursuits.
