Nobody should face their cancer journey alone. We have been providing healthlink transport and related supports for the last 11 years. In that time we have transported over 6.000 service users to nearly 50.000 appointments and have become affectionately known as a travelling support group. By supporting the service you are making a difference to the emotional wellbeing of the service users and that of their families giving them peace of mind knowing that they have a safe, secure and supportive way to attend their appointments. The service is completely free to the service user and confidentiality is guaranteed. We also have an information service. We visit schools, community groups and other organisations and provide them with information around prevention, reducing their risk, screening, knowing their bodies and a healthy lifestyle. Our Centre in Tralee is open daily and there is always someone on hand for a chat and the kettle is always on.
