Join us for the Drogheda Easter 5km on Easter Monday 21st April 11.00 for the first race on the new Port Access Northern Cross Route (PANCR). This race is suitable for runners, joggers & walkers of all abilities.
This charity community event is to raise much needed funds for Drogheda’s first Community Centre, the Moneymore Townland Community Hub. Our Community in Drogheda needs to have access to a safe, secure place for families, children, and young people to meet, and a place where publicly funded services can be delivered without being constrained by lack of space. The services provided by Connect Family Resource Centre, Cable Youth Diversion Project and Moneymore Afterschool Project need this space to expand to meet the complex needs of the area that are constantly growing in demand. We are making great strides to secure funding for this Community Hub facility to be progressed, but the community is required to raise €300,000 match funding, not an easy task!
