Story

The Cork Rebel Run is an annual running event, established in 2012 to provide adults of all abilities with the opportunity to take part in a supportive 5k and 10k community event in Cork City.

Organised by Cork Sports Partnership, MTU Sports Department/Athletics Club & Leisureworld Cork, the Rebel Run takes place in Bishopstown and provides 2 route options (5km & 10km) for participants.

The Cork Rebel Run is sponsored by Cork County Council and Cork City Council.

Both events start from MTU and finish on the MTU campus, a unique feature of the Cork Rebel Run.

The events are open to runners and joggers of all fitness levels, and there are also prizes & spot prizes for different categories on the day.
