This October, the Conack team is taking on a challenge with
real purpose.
From 18 to 23 October 2026, we will walk the final section
of the Camino Francés, travelling from Portomarín to Santiago de Compostela, in
support of Cliona’s Foundation.
At Conack, BUILDING BETTER TOGETHER is about more than the
projects we deliver. It is about supporting our communities and standing
alongside families when they need it most.
Cliona’s Foundation provides vital financial assistance to
families across Ireland who are caring for a seriously ill child. The charity
helps to relieve the pressure of essential non-medical costs such as travel,
accommodation, food, childcare, parking, household bills and specialist
equipment, allowing families to focus on what matters most: caring for their
child.
The Camino will test our resilience, teamwork and
determination, but every kilometre will help make a difference. Every donation,
whatever the amount, will support Cliona’s Foundation in continuing its
important work.
Please support the Conack Camino team by donating or sharing
this page with your family, friends and colleagues.
Thank you for helping us take every step for families who
need support.
Cliona's Foundation provides nationwide financial assistance to families of seriously sick children to help with the non medical costs of caring for their child while in hospital or at home These costs include but are not limited to accommodation, travel, car parking, food, childcare, specialist equipment & much more and can amount to an additional €15,000 a year For many of these families one of the parents has to give up work to care for their child reducing the household income & placing significant financial pressure on them. Cliona’s believe that no family should have to face any added financial stress, when already struggling with the devastation and trauma of a seriously ill child. Cliona’s relies 100% on income raised through a range of activities including events & fundraising, corporate donations, philanthropy & private donations and charity partnerships & have supported 1,768 families over the past 17 years - 186 in 2025. Thank you for your support
