€10K FOR 10KM Team Viatris Seat Raffle

Viatris employees can buy raffle tickets and be entered into a draw to be selected for the Team Viatris canoe. All proceeds go directly to Rape Crisis North East.

Our goal is to raise €10K for 10KM via our kayak fundraiser event. Viatris Ireland employees have an exclusive opportunity to win a seat on the canoe and represent Team Viatris! Enter the raffle by donating €5 below.

Viatris Ireland is proud to sponsor this event, marking our first major CSR face-to-face event in recent times. All proceeds raised in aid of Rape Crisis North East, go towards the purchase of a dedicated new building, to enable their service to expand in line with increased demand.

This is also a great team building opportunity for Viatris Ireland, to come together and show our support for this worthy cause.

Event Details:

Blessington Lakes Kayak Fundraising Event will take place on Saturday 27^th August 2022. Sponsored by Viatris Healthcare Company and supported by Canoeing Ireland and Poulaphouca Paddlers, this promises to be a very special and fun day out with street food, music, raffles, play and picnic areas, prizes and surprises. 

This event could appeal to families, kayak clubs, corporate team building, anyone and everyone.

Further Information:

All participants can park at the Avon car park, a short distance from where the kayak event starts. Please drop boats to the starting point before parking at the Avon.

At Avon, a shuttle bus will be available from 9:15am to transport participants to the starting point at Russelstown.

The final bus leaves Avon for Russelstown at 10:15am, with the kayak event starting at 11am. Anyone collecting rental equipment should plan on taking the earliest shuttle bus option.

For anyone bringing their own kayaks, please drop your boats at Russelstown (opposite Russborough House) first and then drive back to the car park at Avon to park your car. The shuttle bus will then transport you back to the starting point at Russelstown.

Avon is also the finishing point, so your car will be on site.

Clothing Requirements:

• Wetsuit or Sport Gear with Rain Jacket over – weather dependent
• Buoyancy aid (can be provided).
• Old runners – no bare feet please.
• Sun cream.
• Don’t forget to bring a towel and a full change of clothes for when you finish and leave them in your car for when you return.

Car keys can be left at the Event Hub at Avon with tags.
