Event Description:

On Sunday 16th October, the ‘Cooley Camino for Rape Crisis North East’ will take place starting in Carlingford Village car park by the seafront and tourist office.  The 10k sponsored walk will be very kindly guided by Clodagh McKevitt of Anam Tours and will go up the mountain via the Tain Way, veer left towards Barnavave and the cross, down by the deserted village and back via scenic route facing the Mourne Mountains (route may vary slightly from this).  We will end up in the Foy Centre for refreshments.

We are asking participants to try and raise (where possible) €100 in sponsorship via facebook page or cash/cheque or via our website.  Our vital service is in crisis as demand exceeds our capacity to deliver.

We urgently need to purchase a building to expand and reduce our unacceptable waiting list.  We cover Louth, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan and surrounding areas.

We hope you will enjoy this day and want to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for signing up for this event.

Tee shirts will be provided for collection or distribution on the day.

Start time 10.30am
